Managing your subscription
To access your ListServ account, please navigate your browser to https://mail.cira.state.tx.us/ips-cp.
After clicking the above website link, you will be directed to the County Information Resources Agency login screen. Note* Adding this website to your favorites or bookmarked pages will be helpful to access the page in the future.
Login to the program by entering the email address where you are currently receiving List Serv messages to. Then enter your current List Serv account password. If you do not know your List Serv password, please contact CIRA by: 1-800-456-5974 or e-mail CIRA at firstname.lastname@example.org A representative will be able to provide you with the account password.
Once you are logged in to your List Serv account, you will see Account Info section and Mail List Membership section. Within the section labeled Mail List Membership there are four checkboxes.
Direct - This option is the default message delivery style. Direct mail delivery provides an email message delivered to you each time a user posts information to the List Serv.
Digest - This option is the alternative message delivery style. All messages sent across the List Serv each day are condensed into one mail message and delivered at the end of the day to your email address.
Hold - This option is for users that would like to temporarily stop receiving messages from the List Serv. This is most commonly used for vacation, extended absence or medical leave.
Unsub -Check this selection if you would like to be removed (unsubscribe) from the List Serv.
Direct vs. Digest
When a user subscribes to the List Serv, they have the option of selecting to receive a daily digest or direct mail. By choosing the digest option, a user will receive one email message at the end of each day from the List Serv. All the List Serv messages sent that day are condensed into one email message. If you would prefer to receive an email message every time a question or a reply is sent out to the List Serv, then you should select direct delivery.
Updating Account Information: Account Password and Contact Information
To update your Account Information, click on the icon labeled Account Info.
After clicking Account Info, you will be directed to the Edit Mailbox page.
How to put your account on hold
If you would like to temporarily stop receiving List Serv messages, then your account can be placed on hold. Log in to your List Serv account by visiting the following website: https://mail.cira.state.tx.us/ips-cp.
Once you are logged in, locate the Mail List Membershi section and check the box labeled HOLD.
How to take your account off hold
If you would like to begin receiving messages normally again, then your account needs to be taken off hold. Log in to your List Serv account by visiting the following website: https://mail.cira.state.tx.us/ips-cp.
Once you are logged in, locate the Mail List Membership section and uncheck the box labeled HOLD. Your account should now begin receiving List Serv messages normally.
